- Authentication data — passwords (stored hashed), verification codes, and security event details such as IP address and device information for account protection.
- Patrol and duty data — attendance, checkpoint scans, incident reports, notes, and related operational records.
- Location data — precise or approximate GPS location when the app is used for patrol verification, site check-ins, or related features (with device permission).
- NFC / scan data — NFC tag or checkpoint identifiers scanned during patrols.
- Photos / media — images captured or selected for incident reporting or verification (camera / gallery permission when used).
- Device and app data — app version, device type, network connectivity status, and similar technical diagnostics needed to operate and improve the Service.
3. How we use information
We use collected information to:
- Provide, operate, and secure Guard Tour features (login, patrols, checkpoints, reporting, and administration).
- Verify duty compliance and site presence using location and scan data.
- Send transactional emails such as verification codes, security alerts, and account notices.

4. Permissions used by the Android app
- Internet — to communicate with Guard Tour servers.
- Location — for patrol / checkpoint verification.
- NFC — to read authorized checkpoint tags.
- Camera / photos — when attaching images to reports or related workflows.
You can revoke permissions in your device settings. Some features may not work without required permissions.
5. How information is shared
We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared only as needed to operate the Service:
- With your organization (agency/client administrators and authorized supervisors) as part of patrol monitoring.
- With service providers that help us host email, servers, or infrastructure, under confidentiality obligations.
- When required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.
- To protect the rights, safety, and security of users, the public, or CIS Group.
6. Data retention
We retain account, patrol, and security records for as long as needed to provide the Service, meet operational and legal requirements, and resolve disputes. Organizations may request account closure or data deletion subject to applicable retention obligations.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including encrypted transport (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children’s privacy
Guard Tour is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. International / organizational processing
Data may be processed on servers used to operate Guard Tour for CIS Group and authorized client organizations. By using the Service, you understand that operational data may be accessed by authorized personnel within your organization.
10. Your choices and rights
Depending on your role and applicable law, you may be able to:
- Access or update profile information in the app or web portal.
- Request correction or deletion through your organization administrator or by contacting us.
- Control device permissions (location, camera, NFC) in system settings.
